Complementing D SCALE’s core collection is a selection of contemporary and vintage 20th century furniture and accessories crafted by European and American artisans. Each piece was hand selected by Dennis Duffy to fit seamlessly in the D SCALE mix. "There is a sense of artistry and uniqueness in many of these pieces that add a wonderful texture to what we offer," notes Duffy.

Vintage Reproduction Furniture

Vintage reprduction furniture at D SCALE includes the luxe Macassar ebony chair, a Jean-Michel Frank replica. This chair exhibits Frank's ability to establish luxurious and powerful designs while keeping the shape pure and concept simple. Another unique vintage reproduction piece is the parchment dresser in the style of Andre Arbus. Obsessed with elegant shapes and rich materials Arbus effortlessly juxtaposed clean lines and smooth parchment to actualize this statement piece.

Vintage Inspired Furniture

Among the vintage reproduction furniture are vintage inspired pieces added to give breadth and a funky modern touch to Dennis Duffy’s upscale showroom. The Poltrona armchair s an elegant 1950’s Hollywood style vintage chair with Art Nouveau qualities. The Rolo chair in stainless steel and leather is from the early sixties and displays the sleek modern furniture style of Eileen Grey. The burl tables and dresser are a throw-back to the Art Deco era while the luxe fabric on the Ponti chairs help the pair transcend traditional vintage Danish Modern furniture design as does the modern hardware on the double-sided bar cabinet. Vintage Murano art glass, 1940’s French seltzer bottles, and Opaline table lamps complement the contemporary furnishings and mesh well with the modern lamps and accessories that adorn the stylish vignettes.
